How to place an order with S.M.S. Guns
We do not ship Firearms and Ammunition outside of the United States.
If you would like to place an order with S.M.S. Guns please send us an email and tell us what item(s) you would like to order. Please be sure to include the item number if there is one with the description and your zip code so we can estimate the shipping cost. Once you tell us that you want to buy an item we will place it on hold for you until you send in your payment for that item. We will be glad to keep an item on hold for a reasonable amount of time but not indefinitely. All Items listed are sold on a first come first serve basis.
Firearms: For all firearm purchases please include a copy of the proper FFL type signed in Red or Blue ink with payment or have the FFL transfer agent (dealer) send it in directly with a note to let us know who and what it is for. If your FFL is already on file with us please inform us of this before you send in your payment - if for any reason we need you to send in another copy, it will save time and hassle for you if you can send it in with you payment. All state and local laws must be followed, please make sure that the item(s) you would like to purchase are legal to own or possess in your state, county, city or town.
Ammunition: You must fill out and send in with your payment a copy of our ammunition waiver in addition to proof of age (a legible photocopy of your driver's license or other form of photo ID that shows your date of birth). You must be eighteen to purchase rifle ammunition and twenty-one to purchase handgun ammunition. No sales of ammunition to Massachusetts or any other communist state, county, city or town where prohibited. Keep in mind that ammunition is heavy and must be shipped by UPS ground service with adult signature required delivery confirmation. As of 1/1/2007 the current price for the adult signature required delivery confirmation is $5.25 this is an increase of $2.00 over last year. UPS also raised the rest of their rates. Depending on your location it can cost two thirds or more of the cost of the item you would like to order just for the shipping. Be prepared to go into shock when asking for a shipping quote.
Payment Terms
At this time we now accept Master Card and Visa credit cards in addition to money orders and personal, company or credit card checks. Shipment of all orders will be held until payment clears (7 to 10 days) for payments made with any check or money order. No Exceptions.

Shipping Policy
We try to estimate the shipping charges as closely as possible and that is what we charge. We are not out to get rich from charging handling fees, but at the same time we do not want to screw our selves by charging too little. Please email us with your zip code when asking for a price quote. We also add the proper amount of insurance on every order.
Firearms: Most long guns will cost approximately $15.00 and up to ship and are sent by ground service unless otherwise requested. All handguns are required by law to be shipped overnight or as close to that as possible and will cost approximately $25.00 and up. Modern firearms will only be shipped to the holder of a dealer FFL. Curios and Relics (C&R) firearms can be shipped to the holder of either a dealer FFL or a collector (C&R) FFL. Some states, counties, cities and towns prohibit collectors (holders of C&R FFL's) from receiving C&R firearms. Please check the laws in your area before ordering.
Ammunition: We will only ship by UPS ground service with adult signature required delivery confirmation and cannot be shipped in the same package with any firearm. No sales of ammunition to Massachusetts or any other communist state, county, city or town where prohibited.
